Canada Student Loan Forgiveness for Family Doctors and Nurses
Eligibility Requirements
Family doctors and nurses who meet the following criteria may be eligible for Canada Student Loan forgiveness: * Graduated from a Canadian medical school or nursing program * Completed a residency in family medicine or nursing * Working full-time in an underserviced area * Have a Canada Student Loan balance
Benefits
Eligible individuals may receive up to $40,000 in loan forgiveness over four years. The amount of forgiveness depends on the number of years of service in an underserviced area.
How to Apply
To apply for Canada Student Loan forgiveness, eligible individuals must submit an application to the National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC). The application process includes providing proof of identity, income, and employment.
Additional Information
