Pacers Fall 133-128 in Overtime Thriller

The Boston Celtics took a 1-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals with a hard-fought 133-128 overtime victory over the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Despite trailing by 12 points early in the game, the Pacers battled back and forced overtime behind strong performances from Myles Turner and Tyrese Haliburton. However, it was the Celtics who ultimately prevailed, with Jayson Tatum leading the way with 31 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists.

The Celtics got off to a slow start, falling behind 12-0 to the Pacers. However, they slowly chipped away at the lead and eventually took the advantage late in the second quarter. The Pacers stayed close throughout the second half, and the game went into overtime tied at 118. In overtime, the Celtics took control and secured the victory.

In addition to Tatum, Jaylen Brown added 23 points for the Celtics. Turner led the Pacers with 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Haliburton added 22 points and 8 assists. The Pacers will host Game 2 of the series on Monday night before the series shifts to Boston for Games 3 and 4.
