In a thrilling Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Boston Celtics 87-79 to advance to their eighth consecutive NBA Finals. LeBron James led the way for the Cavaliers, scoring 35 points, grabbing 15 rebounds, and dishing out nine assists. Kevin Love added 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Tristan Thompson chipped in with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Celtics were led by Kyrie Irving's 24 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Cavaliers' balanced attack. The Celtics also struggled from the field, shooting just 39.3% from the field and 23.1% from three-point range.
The Cavaliers will now face the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, which begin on Thursday, May 31st.
